So I finally got my hair done last week… my fabulous stylist Lindsay over at Don Frank Salon had a cancellation and I swooped right in there and got the slot. As usual, I love her work!

I also recently purchased a curling wand at Target. I need some practice. I love curling my hair with my flat iron but I wanted to try something new. My first round turned out rather terrifying with the wand.

In super exciting news, I have a niece! My first niece! Evelyn Grace finally decided to join us last week and we are so thrilled she is here! Miles was very excited about her and liked to pet her nicely like he does with our dogs. It was super adorable.

I recently won free eyelash extensions from Chef’s Widow‘s blog courtesy of Christine from Skin Deep. I’m SUPER excited and have an appointment scheduled for later this month before my Vegas trip. I am always disappointed in my lashes and will go to great expense to try the latest and greatest mascara at Sephora so I’m so excited for this beauty treatment!

It’s a short work week! Sort of. I’m off Wednesday like most peeps and then took an extra day off on Friday to head home to the rolling hills of Central Ohio to visit my BFF from high school and her new baby girl.

Our plans for the 4th are pretty low key. Probably grilling out and a bonfire and a day of swimming on boating. Basically, perfection.
