Red 7 never hits.
Seriously. Have you ever played roulette? It’s one of my favorite gambling outlets and damn it all if 7 pretty much never ever hits. Yes, it’s ‘my number’ and yes I always play a few bucks of the table minimum on it and no it never wins. I’m a loyal lady though and through 4 days and 3 nights in Vegas I stuck to that damn number like super glue. It’s sooooo due.
So yeah, Vegas… I LOVE YOU.
This was my first trip to Vegas. I knew I’d have a good time. I was traveling with my awesome husband for his 30th as well as 4 of our besties. I knew it was sure to be a good time. But damn, I had no idea how much I would LOVE VEGAS.
We stayed at The Mirage which is great. It’s nice but not too nice to be too expensive (relatively speaking). The casino is just the right size, the rooms are nice… btw we did the $20 trick and it totally worked. We got a nice ‘suite’ on the 24th floor which includes a private elevator (never a wait!!).
The gals and I also book seats at the private pool on Saturday for $50/person and it was totally worth it. Big comfy chairs feet from the private pool, towels, umbrellas, waitress and no kiddos running wild around me. (BTW what the HELL to all the parents dragging their kids all over Vegas at all hours of the day and night… WHAT THE HELL?!)

We dined at a super fancy steakhouse called Jean George’s at the ARIA… omg best steak ever. We got our Elvis on a Cirque. We gambled. We lost. We won. We gambled more. We walked all the way down the strip and back with a detour through almost every hotel. I’m totally stayed at the Cosmopolitan next time… I mean that place is AWESOME. We shopped. We ate. We walked more. We gambled more. All while enjoying lots of adult beverages and laughter. Seriously Vegas, I LOVE YOU.
Vegas, it was real. I hope to be back REAL SOON. As soon as we fill up our piggy bank again. I’m gonna need it thanks to RED SEVEN!

Just want you to know that I am computing royalties (with a high rate of interest) for every time you tweet using the new avatar … ya know… since I was the photographer.

Vegas is awesome, for reals. The first time I went I stayed at the Mirage too! Your post makes me want to book a trip, pronto! Perhaps after the baby comes, I don’t think Vegas would be nearly as much fun if I didn’t partake in the open container law

I loved all your updates and photos – you look beautiful with your new lashes.
I need to get back to Vegas but I’m not sure it’s going to happen in two months for me before the pools close!
